Where do we stand?

In just over 24 hours the fate of our great Monmouth County Republican Organization will be determined for the next 10 years. We have a choice, a choice for freedom and victory or a choice for a dictatorship and defeat. Many of you may feel that you have been shut out of the process. Many are disgusted and disenfranchised. Some may not seek re-election as a county committee person next year. I ask you to PLEASE reconsider. Please join us at Brookdale tomorrow morning to ask for change.

I am not an "Anti-Adam" person. I am simply a fellow republican that believes in the committee. One of Adam's closest advisors said to me one evening at a function "The committee are a bunch of sheep, that is why we need a steering committee, they don't have a clue. " ( of course I was just quite and listening). I believe that YOU the COMMITTEE are the front line in this political battle. You are responsible for carrying the message out the grass roots of Monmouth County. If you the COMMITTEE don't believe in the candidates we can't win.

Option 1
No one shows up (maybe 50 to 100 of the Adam supporters out there). They vote, Cantor wins the freeholder seat, Guadagno wins Sheriff and Rible and Angelini win for the 11th district. We are done and all go home by 12:00 Noon. Quick and Clean, Adam reports "No one asked for my resignation, the republican rank and file are behind me" County committee say home for the election. The Republicans suffer the worst defeat in Monmouth County history. Nearly all seats are lost (State, Local and County). We then start the long road to recovery.

Option 2
Huge turn out. 600+ turn out. Yes it is a circus like atmosphere (jugglers and clowns and even a ring master). The county committee demands change. Change is granted. The committee changes the course of the ship, we avoid disaster, reclaim our dignity & sanity. The COMMITTEE CHOOSES a slate of candidates. WE CREATE BYLAWS for the organization. The rank and file republicans work hard to stimulate the grass roots of Monmouth County. We win in November by HUGE margins.

CONCLUSION
It is up to you, the COMMITTEE. Our system provides for a selection process. This process has been used since the beginning. This Saturday is a "NOMINATING" Convention. The Idea is to NOMINATE. The rules proposed should not be accepted. The COMMITTEE needs to choose the rules. COMMITTEE MEMBERS.. DON'T BE DISGUSTED, BE MOTIVATED.
